Just north of Nairobi, nestled in the lush central highlands beneath the Aberdares, Kiambu has long been at the heart of Kenyan coffee. Blessed with rich, red volcanic soil and consistent rainfall, this region produces not one, but two harvests a year—each brimming with vibrant flavour and history.
While large estates dominate much of the landscape, it's the smallholder farms and co-ops, meticulously processing their own cherries, that give Kiambu its distinct personality. Working closely with the Dormans team, we've crafted a traceable, character-driven blend that celebrates the very best of this iconic region.
In the cup, expect a clean, citrus-forward acidity, refined clarity, and a structured sweetness that’s unmistakably Kenyan. It's a bright, balanced profile with nods to local towns like Ruiru, Limuru, and Thika—all under the proud Kiambu umbrella.
